Property transfer costs (government tax, council tax and legal taxes) amount to 9% of the official value supplied by the tax office while those relating to legal assistance and public notary amount to approximately 2%.

There is no housing tax on properties in Greece with a value of below 200.000.00 Euro (based on official tax office guidelines).
